Unsupported Windows 11 PCs might still get updates after all

Microsoft has been enough exacting about the minimal conditions for Windows 11, indeed if it means leaving numerous fully able Windows 10 PCs out in the deep freeze. Despite the still ongoing confusion, Windows 11’s security and CPU conditions are set in gravestone, at least as far as “ officially supported” machines are concerned. Microsoft, still, is n’t moving to block unsubstantiated installations and might indeed continue supporting these “non-compatible” Windows 11 with critical updates during the operating system’s continuance.

To be clear, Windows 11’s strict system conditions really only apply to PCs that will be marked as eligible for upgrading from Windows 10. There are other sanctioned ways to install Windows 11, however, particularly from media handed by Microsoft itself. The company indeed handed instructions on how to bypass Windows 11’s TPM2.0 check when it really comes down to it.

Of course, Microsoft wants people to know that these indispensable styles come with pitfalls, and there was a point in time when it was believed it would be using a dread tactic to get druggies to stay down from those. Although it was noway officially verified, a Microsoft representative was quoted saying that unsubstantiated Windows 11 machines wo n’t be getting updates. That was putatively verified by Microsoft’s warning to Insider testers, but those play by different rules anyway.

According to tech point HTNovo, still, that has n’t come to pass, at least not yet. Their Windows 11 computers that did n’t meet the minimal demand were suitable to admit the first set of “ Patch Tuesday” updates. They indeed got diurnal updates from the Windows Security suite.

It’s surely cheering to see that Microsoft wo n’t abandon Windows 11 druggies who got there using volition but still sanctioned styles. It’s unclear, still, if this is really Microsoft’s sanctioned policy moving forward or if it’s just staying for effects to settledown. However, still, it could find itself in legal trouble as it can be fluently indicted of forcing people to buy new computers just to stay defended on Windows 11, If it does withhold updates.
