Apple updates Final Cut and Logic to take advantage of new M1 Pro and Max chips

Apple made many ADOs from the creative skills of MacBook Pro who was redesigned during its “Unleashed” event, and updated its flagship media editing software to fully utilize enhanced hardware. The company has released a new version of the final Cut Pro (10.6) and Logic Pro (10.7) which utilizes M1 Pro and M1 Max, especially in video processing and engine learning. The FCP editor can play up to seven 8K Prores at once, and export in format more than five times faster – no feathe for laptops, because Apple wants to show. You can even use 8K class HDR recordings using only the built-in MacBook Pro screen.

There is also a new object tracker that you can use to connect animated effects to faces and objects. You can easily edit cinematic mode videos from the iPhone 13 series too. Motion now makes the visual effects work up twice as fast, and can play two 8K video streams at five times the previous frame. Compressors, meanwhile, HEVC video transcodes are up to twice as fast, and prores up to ten times faster. And if you live in the Canon world, you can transmit the video Cinema Raw Light to another format for the first time. There is even a watch folder feature that will automatically encode content when reaching the given folder – helping to streamline workflows, especially among teams.

The pro-logic renewal, meanwhile, focused on the creation of spatial audio – just in time for new airpods, of course. A new mixer, Panner and plugin lets you write Dolby’s Atmos songs, and the new MacBook Pro can use their added performance to make a very sophisticated mixture. The music editing tool is now equipped with a producer package that you see in GarageBand too, so you can integrate the royalties and samples free of royalty from young people Noize, Mark Ronson and Trakgirl.

Both free updates for existing users. Final Cut Pro usually costs $ 300 for new users, with motion and compressor each of $ 50 each. Logic Pro is valued at $ 200. The most reasonable upgrade if you are invested in prores or intends to publish Apple music. However, it’s easy to look appeal, at least for FCP. You can quickly change certain video projects using only your MacBook Pro, even if you work especially with 8K footage.
