Disney has shaken the calendar to release the film, with several Marvel Cinematic Universe films delayed. The changed schedule, variety which report is caused by the effect of snowball associated with production, affects slate for 2022 and so on, and it will have a knock-on effect on Disney +.
All MCU Disney films on MAP for 2022 have been pushed into the slot later. The strange doctor at Multiverse madness was written for March 25, but now taking Thor: Love and the old date of thunder on May 6. The next thor film will arrive on July 8, in turn pushed back Panther Black: Wakanda forever until November 11.
The shift schedule means that there will only be three Marvel films next year than four planned four, because captain Marvel sequel Marvel now has the release date of February 17, 2023. Ant-Man and Wasp: Quantumania has moved from the date 28 July 2023. On the other hand , Disney brought a Mystery Marvel movie (hopefully the galaxy 3 guardian) advanced one week from November 10, 2023.
Elsewhere, the next Indiana Jones film has been postponed for 11 months. You have to wait until June 30, 2023 for the fifth assignment of Harrison Ford as an iconic archaeologist. Ford suffered an injury while filming this summer, even though he was now back in action. Disney live-action film, 20th century and two flick marvel (all without titles) has been removed from the schedule 2023.
Amazingly, considering how many times the film has been postponed for years, Disney has not shifted the release date of Avatar 2. Still on a schedule for December 16, 2022.
It still has to be seen what this change will have at Disney +. For the remaining 2021, Disney has been committed to the exclusive theater window for the films before they are available for streaming, but have not yet silenced how things will function in 2022 and so on.
The company adopted a simultaneous release strategy for several films over the past year or more in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic, with Mulan, Raya and the last Dragon, Cruella and Black Widow who needed an access access access $ 30 for initial access at Disney +. Disney’s decision to let the viewers flow black widows at home on the same day hit the theater pushing the lawsuit which is now resolved from Star Scarlett Johansson.
