Microsoft might be designing its own Surface processor

It seems that a big match in today’s consumer technology market is for companies to design their own silicon in one form or another. Apple certainly has made Apple a series of chips for the iPhone and iPad much longer than its rivals, but Google seems to start capturing. Even Vivo jumps on the game with the V1 Imagine signal processor itself. Really not surprising that Microsoft might join the bandwagon, even though the exact plan was still ready for a lot of speculation and debate.

As one of the largest and oldest technology giants in the world, Microsoft naturally has many aspects of the industry. It won’t be surprising if Microsoft has made its own silicone behind the scenes, but no consumers will be able to see a much less experience. It can change immediately, especially with trends in the consumer technology market lately.

According to Hothardware, Microsoft has posted a list of jobs that are looking for architecture system-on-chip director (SOC). That’s all, of course, not a sign of the company’s silicon plan, but indeed shows that it is preparing for some serious actions in the arena.

There are also rumors about the partnership between Microsoft and AMD for special processors, but there is nothing you consider to be. Instead of the X86 / X64 processor like the Ryzen AMD chip, this is thought to be an arm-based Cortex-X1 chip. This can be a Jab in Qualcomm, which collaborates with Microsoft over SQ1 and SQ2 chips on the surface of the pro x, basically modifying the Snapdragon processor based on the Snapdragon 8CX computing platform.

The surface silicone itself can provide the same advantage as Microsoft the same as Apple and, soon, Google enjoys in adjusting fine-tuning hardware and software experiences for their customers. That said, Microsoft has not had the best luck in terms of doing its own hardware, and it will be a rather large betting if it goes down this pathway, especially if it is riskyly ruffling Intel feathers.
